Travel: Oakridge Vineyard Australia

It has always been my dream to see a vineyard one day and it all came to life when we visited Oakridge Vineyard in Melbourne Australia. It was our last day in the city thinking of what could be that best place to visit out of many tourist spots to see in Melbourne. It was 2 hours drive away from our hotel in The Langham and we were lucky enough to make it in time to have some wine tasting inside the vineyard guest area and wine shop. We ended up strolling the vineyard with our GoPro out making sure we were able to capture the best view of these wineries and getting a little tipsy with all those varieties of wines we were lucky enough to get a taste of.

Fashion: Red Alert

During our last day in Melbourne last year, we got the chance to visit the infamous street art of Hosier Lane and went for some vineyard experience at Oakridge, 2 hours drive from the city area.
I was thinking of that vibrant look to provide justice for these 2 top tourist attractions in Melbourne so I decided to wear a red plaid shirt for the color alert impression with a touch sophistication and simplicity.

I'm wearing Forever 21 plaid shirt and khaki from Factorie Singapore. I paired it with black woven sneakers from Pull & Bear and snap back from Cotton On.  I used my brown leather watch from Fossil and bracelets from Coach & LV. Just simple put on that sunnies and I'm ready for another OOTD look like these taken at our hotel lobby The Langhan Melboure.

Travel: Hosier Lane

Hosier Lane is a bluestone cobbled vehicular and pedestrian laneway on the southern edge of the central city grid. Hosier lane is a much celebrated landmark mainly due to its sophisticated Urban art.
Hosier Lane lies opposite the entrance to the Atrium at Federation Square on Flinders St, a prominent position in the city.

The lane has been noted for the quality and the often political nature of its art. It features in the state-sponsored book The Melbourne Design Guide and in Tourism Victoria's Lose Yourself in Melbourne advertising campaign, leading to questions about the dichotomy of Victoria's approach to graffiti. The graffiti-covered walls and art-installations have become a popular backdrop for fashion and wedding photography.

Hosier Lane is also known for its upmarket cocktail lounges including the popular Misty and MoVida. An open air cooking session with MoVida's chef Frank Camorra on Masterchef Australia season 2 showcased the lane as a major Melbourne attraction.

Food: La Roche St Kilda Melbourne

La Roche is the perfect place for morning breakfast to boos up your day. With their breakfast menu items with prices ranging from AUD $10 - $18, you will definitely wake up early everyday to catch up with their freshly made omelette. toasted bread, buttered mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. I also love their coffees here in Melbourne from latte to cappuccino, it's just perfectly done!

La Roche during lunch and dinner time also known for serving alcoholic beverages or crispy pizza pies right out of the oven. This restaurant has its location on Acland Street in St Kilda where you can purchase a salad, pasta dish or gourmet smoked ham pizza with the best taste and affordable prices too. I will definitely recommend this food haven if you're near St Kilda Beach in Melbourne.

Travel: 12 Apostles Australia

The picturesque beauty of 12 Apostles! The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction. Currently there are eight apostles left, the ninth one of the stacks collapsed dramatically in July 2005. The name remains significant and spectacular especially in the Australian tourism industry.

The apostles were formed by erosion: the harsh and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually eroded the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then became arches, which in turn collapsed; leaving rock stacks up to 50 metres high. Now because of this erosion there are fewer than ten remaining. The site was known as the Sow and Piglets until 1922 (Muttonbird Island, near Loch Ard Gorge, was the Sow, and the smaller rock stacks were the Piglets); after which it was renamed to The Apostles for tourism purposes. The formation eventually became known as the Twelve Apostles, despite only ever having nine stacks.

The 12 Apostles was one of the best works of nature I have ever witnessed in my life. It was hours of travel by road from Melbourne City but it was all worth it. This place is indeed one of a kind. It's the top 1 on my list to visit in Australia. What made it even more exciting was my helicopter ride experience where I had the 360 degrees view of the place. It was truly unforgettable!

Fashion: Hoodie Weather

It was a hoodie weather in Melbourne when I came up with this look. Our first agenda in the city was to take a good breakfast before we ticked off our bucket list one of the most daring adventure of my life- sky diving. We were at St. Kilda Beach strolling around this vibrant city and came across this bicycle that I used as the perfect accesory for this look. I'm wearing this statement gray hoodie from Pull & Bear and navy blue shorts from Uniqlo. It was a day of adventure so I made sure of wearing my most athletic multi-colored running shoes from Nike. I finished it off with snapback from Billabong and Aviator from Ray-Ban.

Food: Papa Goose Melbourne

Papa Goose was our first food escapade in Melbourne. It was almost late when we reached the city and was trying to find for a good restaurant to satisfy our hungry stomach after a full day activity in Australia. We rented a private car and asked for the driver's assistance to drop us to any of Melbourne's best food place for late dinner. We ended up strolling the full stretch of the street ending up here at Papa Goose. It was a modern British inspired restaurant that serves some of the best menu items in British cuisine with a twist of Australian gastronomic delicacies. I totally forgot all the names of the food that we ate here but will try to remember the names of it including the prices to give you more info. But what I can't forget was the culinary experience that we had as all the foods served to us were seriously the best of its taste and culinary originality. The staff who served us was the friendliest F&B staff I have ever encountered and the restaurant ambience was just so perfectly designed for that eat-well-more-convo-mood. We went out of this resto with smile on our faces with our tummy completely satisfied including for what we paid for.

Travel: Australia 2015

It was my first time to visit this country from down under. Welcome to Australia! It was one of the most memorable travel experience since I'm with the most precious people around me. It started from a random plan that turned out to be a reality, our most awaited friendship travel goal! It was a big surprise when I realized that they booked a business class ticket via Singapore Airlines (first timer here!) It was such a  great flight experience on board for almost 7 hours from Singapore Changi Airport to Sydney. We all had some good dinner at the airport lounge before boarding, served with bottomless champagne during the flight with world- class food for breakfast and of course SIA's best customer service, it was indeed the best flight so far. Sydney then greeted me the next day and can't wait to share more travel experience with you so just keep on following my blog for more of my Australia travel adventure.
