Fashion: Kyoto Dress Code

One my Japan's travel highlight was when I finally got to see the infamous Arashimaya Bamboo Grove and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan. If you're in such picturesque scenery, you gotta make sure to dress up well to capture that perfect shot. I have decided to wear something flexible and yet minimal so I can shift my style easily without competing with my view by wearing basic yet effective fashion pieces.

I'm wearing denim long sleeve from Oxygen Philippines, black leather jacket from ASOS and tattered jeans from Cotton On. I paired it with white sneaker from Adidas Stan Smith, snap back from Aeropostale, pack bag from Herschel and scarf from Topman.

Fashion: Dare to Denim

Adding fashion flavor for a twist like leather and denim can be a big dilemma. When it comes to matching leather and denim together, you have to take into consideration on these two strong opposing fashion staples when pulling out in one look. This jacket from Zara Man was the perfect fashion piece on the cold and windy day tour at the 12 Apostles. I failed in realizing the need to wear denim pants just so for my love on this navy shorts from Uniqlo Singapore. I'm wearing a simple white inner cotton shirt from Giordano and paired it with my Nike techni - color running shoes. I was wearing snap back from Billabong ang classic aviator from Ray-ban. That sporty and edgy type of fashion look that I was trying to achieve was definitely showing on this OOTD taken all the way from Australia. Don't be afraid to add some leather and denim in your style, just be yourself and get the best look out of your creative imagination.

Fashion: Undercover in Opera House

What will you wear if you'll visit your dream destination like Sydney Opera House? I was thinking at first of having my most formal attire to compensate on the grandiosity of this iconic architectural tourist spot in Sydney but still ended up wearing my personal style kind of look. I love black color and it's obviously my kind of style recently. I wanted to achieve that minimalist and sporty look on this OOTD, so here's what I came up with. I was wearing plain white V neck shirt from Zalora Singapore and paired it with my ever reliable skinny jeans from Pull & Bear. I used this gray bomber jacket from Zara Man as I'm literally freezing to Sydney's temperature at night (around 11 degrees).
I used my woven leather sneakers from Pull & Bear and snap back from Cotton On. I finished my look with some accessories (Fossil watch & Coach bracelet). So there you go, it's simple but its fashion statement was still striking. More fashion blog post for you guys soon so just keep on reading my blogs. Happy Vesak Day to everyone.

Fashion: Kissed by the Light

Kissed by the light - it's an impromptu photo shoot on a working Saturday few weeks back, photo taken by my good friend Benson (IG Account: @bensonmcoy) Since were allowed to wear shorts in the office every weekend, I do make sure in wearing the comfiest outfit like this look. Skinny shorts paired with techni color Nike running shoes and just a plain V neck white shirt will always create a simple yet striking fashion statement. It was a very humid afternoon so have to wear Ray-Ban sunnies and Billabong cap for some sun protection. Check out more photos of this look and tap for details.

Fashion: Pure Minimalism

You will always never go wrong with black and white fashion combo! I call this look based on the concept of pure minimalism. This style for me will never goes out of fashion.I'm wearing V-neck shirt from Zara Man and tattered black denim from Pull & Bear. I paired it with my all-white Nike AirMax shoes and accessorized it with red G-Shock watch for a red hint and black snapback from New Yorker.

I told myself to be experimental with colors in terms of my fashion style this year. But I think would still prefer for white or black from time to time. Watch out for more style blog posts soon right only here on my blog. Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!

Fashion: Sail Away in Spain

This nautical look inspired by denim on denim trending style was the perfect OOTD on my first day in Barcelona. Strolling around La Rambla street and ending up at Port Vell, this was just the perfect spot to take some selfie and fashion blog post.

I am wearing leather and denim jacket from Zara Man and Oxygen denim button down that complements well on my jacket color tone. The brown shorts is from Pull & Bear and finish my look with Birckenstock mandals and classic Ray-Ban aviators. This look will never ran out of style and perfect for a sunny yet cold weather of Spain. Keep on following my blog for more travel, food & fashion post this week.

Fashion: Minimalist

Finally got the best cover photo for my blog lay-out & Lookbook account with this impromptu photo shoot with my talented photographer / friend Benson here in Singapore. We were supposed to just take an OOTD post for Instagram but his Olympus camera was indeed one heck of a stunner. Need to buy an Olympus camera too (very soon)! Happy 50th Birthday Singapore and enjoy the long weekend.
