Bag of Beans Tagaytay

Tagaytay is known for its laid back feel perfect for a Sunday family fun day and ideal as well for friends looking for a great dinner with a perfect picture spot. Recently there was so much reviews about Bag of Beans Tagaytay so I  made it to a point to check it out. As what they claim that this food haven is serving great food & ambience, I was not disappointed at all. Coz if you haven't been here, you're probably missing half of your life.

Starting off the experience with their famous black coffee was just a wonderful experience on a cool afternoon with a open space and lots of comfortable nooks. You will really appreciate nature in here if you want a break from the city. While waiting for the food items to be served, we had so much fun laughing out loud & remembering our memories of Tagaytay back in college  days.

Bag of Beans is nestled in unman cured garden setting in Tagaytay. It's actually the experience and ambience that you would be paying for aside from the food. That make drinking coffee here in a totally different experience. Bag of Beans has been brewing Kapeng Barako and Kapeng Alamid for locals & tourist for almost 13 years now. Many people may go here because of their scrumptious cheesecakes while having a sip of their aromatic coffee. They also serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course don't forget to drop by their souvenir store where you can buy pasalubong like breads, pastries & coffee beans.

SKY RANCH TAGAYTAY 2014

Known as "Sky Eye"located in Tagaytay City is the tallest ferris wheel in Philippines at 63 meters with 32 gondolas which is far bigger than the MOA Eye & Enchanted Kingdom's Wheel of Fate. Everyone just love Tagaytay City with an elevation of 2,000 feet above sea level (so cold in here) & you will definitely enjoy the highest point of the Sky Eye at 2,207 feet.

It is considered to be one of the most visited summer destination in Philippines so Sky Ranch will be a great place to visit this coming summer with friends or families who's planning for some vacation in the next coming months.

TAGAYTAY PHILIPPINES MARCH 2013

The City of Tagaytay in one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of outstanding scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude. It has a high standard of living. Tagaytay overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and provides on e of the  iconic views of the Philippines, the view of Taal Volcano Island in the middle of the lake, viewable from several vantage points in the city.

Tagaytay is relatively close to the capital city of Manila, only 55 km away providing an easy escape for the locals from the heat of the big city. The best way to enjoy any Tagaytay trip is simply to have a "JOY RIDE" with barkada/family. Luckily we had an SUV from a friend that took us around 30-45 minutes from AUP.

Our first stop was Starbucks Tagaytay which I considered the best coffee shop location overlooking Taal Volcano while enjoying your cup of coffee. We went few meters away to an area popular for taking photos of the Taal Volcano scenery as your backdrop.

Since I was craving for Filipino authentic cuisine, we decided to have our early dinner at Dencio's Tagaytay. It is located at Emilio Aguinaldo Hi-way, Silang Crossing West, Tagaytay City. Dencio's menu consists of Appetizers, Soups, Favorites, Rice & Noodles, & Pork/Chicken/Vegetables dishes.

This restaurant was memorable for me since most of major ocassions back in my university years happened here. What I liked in Dencio's was the wide arrays of Filipino food options on their menu so its like a one-in-all stop if all you want is to satisfy your cravings for all-pinoy food cuisine. It's best to try their kare-kare, crispy pata, sisig & bulalo. For desserts, have a try of their halo-halo, leche flan & turon de sorbetes.

After our happy tummy episode, we decided to went straight home to continue our bonding escapade in Nuvali Sta.Rosa which is one of the latest tourist attraction around the area.

Meeting Place: Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP).
