Empire State Singapore

I do love pasta from American dishes with Asian influence. Browsing the menu having wide mouth watering selections like soups, salads, pasta, pizza, ribs, burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes and luscious desserts, that's exactly why I keep coming back at Empire State Restaurant at my favourite outlet at Causeway Point.

My ultimate choice on their menu will be the Empire State Spaghetti Bolognese with Giant Meatballs. Resistance is futile. Even the mafia trembles at this unremorsefully huge serving of spaghetti with loads of bolognese sauce topped with a montrous-sized meatball and garnished with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Only at Empire State! Try out Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon & Mushroom, with the wonderful combination of sauteed mushroom and bacon, served with garlic cream sauce and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Definitely you can try as well the Spaghetti Alio with Bacon & Mushroom with large portions of bacon, mushrooms, finely chopped garlic, olive oil & chili flakes.

Bag of Beans Tagaytay

Tagaytay is known for its laid back feel perfect for a Sunday family fun day and ideal as well for friends looking for a great dinner with a perfect picture spot. Recently there was so much reviews about Bag of Beans Tagaytay so I  made it to a point to check it out. As what they claim that this food haven is serving great food & ambience, I was not disappointed at all. Coz if you haven't been here, you're probably missing half of your life.

Starting off the experience with their famous black coffee was just a wonderful experience on a cool afternoon with a open space and lots of comfortable nooks. You will really appreciate nature in here if you want a break from the city. While waiting for the food items to be served, we had so much fun laughing out loud & remembering our memories of Tagaytay back in college  days.

Bag of Beans is nestled in unman cured garden setting in Tagaytay. It's actually the experience and ambience that you would be paying for aside from the food. That make drinking coffee here in a totally different experience. Bag of Beans has been brewing Kapeng Barako and Kapeng Alamid for locals & tourist for almost 13 years now. Many people may go here because of their scrumptious cheesecakes while having a sip of their aromatic coffee. They also serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course don't forget to drop by their souvenir store where you can buy pasalubong like breads, pastries & coffee beans.

FOOD: Sbarro

Coming back from where your heart truly belongs is always the best feeling. Luckily I got the chance to spend a weekend in Philippines & that means a chance of indulging into my deepest food cravings.

We went to Mall of Asia with my beloved mom & sister to have our lunch so without any hesitation, Sbarro was the only spot that came into my mind. This pasta & pizza haven was one of the best when it comes to carb loading plus the taste that you wouldn't regret to try. They don't have the franchise yet here in SG so i bet this would be a hit given that chance of opening one here.

Sbarro was born from Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro when they opened a salumeria, an Italian delicatessen in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, that was an exceptional showcase of authentic and fresh Italian fare, from freshly made mozzarella and homemade sausages, to traditional Italian delicacies and desserts, all based on the Sbarro family recipes.
In 1972, Pampanga native Jaime Jimmy Salvador joined the Sbarro business. He worked in operations as store manager, then ran the corporate commissary in Brooklyn, and eventually served as Sbarro’s first Area Manager. Then, in 1989, after 17 years of living in New York and working with the Sbarro family, Jimmy returned to the Philippines —carrying the Sbarro brand with him.
Rodriguez and her family, he opened the first Sbarro Philippines branch at the Annex in SM North Edsa in 1990 — the first Sbarro in all of Asia. And so today, Sbarro Philippines continues to satisfy the cravings of Filipinos with 25 branches nationwide.       Authentic Style Italian Spaghetti
