Travel: Summer 2017 in Bali Indonesia

One of the most magical island on planet earth where you can spend the best summer of your life will be no other than Bali, Indonesia.  To those who have seen it's natural beauty, I bet you will agree that 100% you fell in love on this place too. I came from a tropical island in the Philippines that's also blessed with so much of natural resources, but the Island of Bali is still one of a kind from its picturesque sceneries, golden sunsets and huge waves where the true colors of summer can happen.

There's so much to discover in Bali, as I've been here for three time already but still haven't explore some on the best tourist spots and must see places on the island. My last visit here was on April 2017 when my workmates decided to spend a long weekend vacation and had the best summer time of our lives. We explored several locations including Nusa Dua, Pandawa Beach, Uluwatu, Ubud and Seminyak, Every miles we traveled were all worth it looking at the natural beauty of Bali and seeing it's magnificent beaches all over the island.

If you're planning to visit Bali, make sure to book your flights between March to May which is the summer season, although the most common issue during this time will  be number of tourist visits. Its advisable too in  going several places by booking your hotels or AirBnb into various locations to fully explore the island. Don't you worry about the expenses for the transportation and food here coz it's way cheaper than Maldives, Phuket or even in Boracay. One thing that you will also love here will be the local people, with their genuine smile and obvious hospitality that truly captured our hearts, they have the respect and love for tourism and one of their community's source of income and it's been a lifestyle actually to most of them. 

Let me share with you some of the best tourist spots and locations to visit in Bali, including of course my summer OOTD (haha!) and some of the food haven spots to try in the island. Travel: LABORACAY (Boracay Island, Philippines)

Summer season is almost over and for this travel blog post let me take you back to my first experience of Laboracay. Yes it was way back in 2016 and I have a serious travel back log post for all my beach escapades and way more to share with you guys! It was all about the sun, sea and sand with the rhythm of party beats surrounding the island every 1st of May in one of the world's most iconic summer destination of the world, Boracay Island located in my homeland, the Philippines.

It's the best season for you to visit this island where it's equipped with all your party needs and beach experiences you won't forget. Laboracay is known for its reputation of giving you nothing but the best for all party goers and beach lovers.  The island offers the best hotel accommodations, party invites, seafood buffet, extreme water rides, by the beach massage and all night free flow drinks if you're really looking up for FUN! Welcome the honey moon capital of the world - MALDIVES! It was a dream come true when I finally visited this summer's most exclusive beach destination in Asia. I was lucky to stay in one of the most iconic place here in Maldives - no other than Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa.

Literally you can live in this island forever as the resort is fully equipped with all your vacation necessities from water sports, wellness spa, buffet restaurants, bar by the beach and the most exclusive resort rooms that feels like heaven on earth. We were lucky to be upgraded into a deluxe family room with private pool access and spacious bed rooms and their bathrooms feels like it only exist in my dream, totally beyond the scope of my imagination. 

Your 24 hours in a day will surely not be enough as you can do so much in this resort whether you have the active lifestyle or you prefer the chill bum beach life. Although the weather didn't cooperate well with us, that didn't stop us from having the best beach vacation ever. Fashion: Waves and Surf

It's the last leg of the summer heat and I just can't get enough of beach therapy! Last weekend I went to Tanjong Beach Club for some catch up sunset sessions with friends. As usual its humid and the temperature was burning that day so I had to wear something that's comfortable and easy to wear yet stylish of course. I was wearing a summer sleeveless top from ASOS and navy blue beach shorts from Folded & Hung Philippines. I used my black classic Birkenstock slippers and paired it with snapback from Aeropostale and sunglasses from Sunnies. More blog post coming soon on my Australian trip for more travel & food guide. No matter where you are, even if you're stranded on an island, you can never stop me from taking my OOTD. Hahahaha! Of course with there awesome view, I can't resist the chance of having it as my back ground for some summer island photo session. I was wearing shark designed blue top tank from Zalora Singapore and gray swim shorts from Cotton On. I'm also wearing snap back from Billabong and Havaianas slippers, all brands perfect for the summer. This was taken at Khai Island during an island tour last year, such a picturesque beach scenery worth discovering.

Patong Seafood Restaurant is another food haven to try in Patong Beach area if you want to have a taste of authentic green curry or fresh Thai seafood in Phuket Thailand. Just across the Patong Beach area, this restaurant offers the freshest seafood and superb Thai cuisines perfect for that dinner by the beach mood that you've wanted for the longest time. The place is not that fancy but they have welcoming staff always ready to assist you and the menu items comes in various selections from Thai delicacies, seafoods and even western dishes if you're up for some pasta and wine.

 Its always sweeter the second time around, just like here in Phuket Thailand. There's no better place to stay that Baan Laimai Beach Resort. The resort just opposite the beach front area will give you the total access most of Phuket's must see tourist spot around the island. I love how it here every time I go to Phuket for they will always have the best price deal for room accommodation. When it comes to resort amenities, well you'll gonna love their vast swimming pool area, fitness gym and welcome lounge area where you can book all your travel itineraries. It's been 4 months now but I still can't get over the beautiful city of Cebu. The recent Sinulog Festival here was the most memorable traditional festive event I had so far. It was a good choice that I celebrate my birthday here this year. So for those planning to visit this magnificent island in the Philippines, here's my top 10 must-try in Cebu!

Welcome to Bintan Island Indonesia! I had a short weekend trip in here last month and had the best summer ender escapade. When my housemates told me they got tickets on sale for $99 SGD/ head going to Bintan Indonesia, I said yes right away! 

It's seriously one of the best tourist spot nearest to Singapore for beach lovers out there. So here's a photo diary of my recent trip in Bintan Island where I truly had a blast. Thanks to my housemates for making this trip an unforgettable one.

Asiana Cafeteria Bintan Indonesia

Asiana Cafeteria is a food haven right inside the Agro Bintan Beach Resort that offers not only sumptuous food menu items but also a great deal of value-for-money food selections. Asiana Cafeteria offers nothing but the best of Asian & Western food from Bee-hoon and Seafood Fried Rice to their luscious pasta & home-made cheezy pizza. 

Before heading back to Singapore, we had out lunch in here. If it looks so appetizing then it was fully justified by its taste that you couldn't go wrong trying this out. It will definitely makes your tummy so happy as they offer nothing but the best food items while having the stunning view of the Indonesian beach. Depot Ayam Penyet

One of the most popular Indonesian dish to try will be Ayam Penyet and there's no other way to have the original taste of its one-of-a-kind cuisine by trying it out at Depot Ayam Penyet located in Bintan Island, Indonesia. It's always a good way to know the cultural background of the country of your visit by trying out their local food gastronomical dishes. 

Ayam Penyet is a chicken fried with locally infused Indonesian spices served with Asian rice, crunchy tofu and vegetable soup flavoured with locally grown vegetables. I did not search for its food history so I'm just describing it on how it tasted. So if you'll gonna visit Indonesia one of these days, this is one food list you shouldn't miss out. 

BINTAN AGRO BEACH RESORT

I've been waiting for the right time to finally visit the Island of Bintan in Indonesia and I was totally amazed by it's beauty and the simplicity of the island life here. To experience this place was nothing better than to stay in one of Bintan's best beachfront resort located at Kepulauan Riau Indonesia. 

 You will always fall in love to another beautiful day on this island. Taking a dip / going for a swi, everyday in the crystal clear water has simply a way of clearing your mind from all the clutters of your busy life & perhaps cleansing your soul as well. Every moment and every second in this paradise will always be the best just by simply enjoying the gorgeous Indonesian sunset.

This view will never get old. Wish I could stay here forever.

Spending just a day on the beach is just so therapeutic. There's something in the sound of the waves rushing to the shore, taking a walk & stepping into grains of fine sands, & simply basking off under the the heat of the sun. During my recent trip to Philippines, I really made sure that my last sumer escapade will be worth remembering. Lucky for me, I discovered some of the best untouched beach resorts in Oriental Mindoro, so picturesque & awesome I just can't help but to share with everyone.
