Travel: Khai Island

Fashion: Island Boy

No matter where you are, even if you're stranded on an island, you can never stop me from taking my OOTD. Hahahaha! Of course with there awesome view, I can't resist the chance of having it as my back ground for some summer island photo session. I was wearing shark designed blue top tank from Zalora Singapore and gray swim shorts from Cotton On. I'm also wearing snap back from Billabong and Havaianas slippers, all brands perfect for the summer. This was taken at Khai Island during an island tour last year, such a picturesque beach scenery worth discovering.

Travel: Baan Laimai Beach Resort

Its always sweeter the second time around, just like here in Phuket Thailand. There's no better place to stay that Baan Laimai Beach Resort. The resort just opposite the beach front area will give you the total access most of Phuket's must see tourist spot around the island. I love how it here every time I go to Phuket for they will always have the best price deal for room accommodation. When it comes to resort amenities, well you'll gonna love their vast swimming pool area, fitness gym and welcome lounge area where you can book all your travel itineraries. I was not able to get good number of photos to share with you but here's some summer touristy postcards from out hotel room balcony to give you some visual diary.

Tavel: Krabi Hot Spring & Tiger Cave

This is my last post for my Krabi travel diary. As what they say, save the best for last. If you're thinking that Thailand is just famous for their undeniably captivating beaches, we'll you don't experience what Krabi can offer to all the tourist out there. This picturesque beauty comes in abundance of nature and hidden beauty secrets.

One of the best tourist spot to visit here will be the Krabi Hot Spring, yes they do have hot speing here too. What about dipping your body into naturally high water temp coming from underwater making it a natural sauna kind of mood. This place is considered to be one of the top tourist attraction here that you shouldn't miss.

You moght as well try the Tiger Cave for some spiritual and physical travel challenge. I was not able to reach the cave located on top of the mountain cliffs as I'm not physically prepared for it. It will take you hundreds of steps to reach it peak so you better be dressed accordingly. Krabi was such an amazing place to unwind if you're looking for vacation spot aside from Phuket and Bangkok.

Travel: Krabi Emerald Pool

Another breathtaking nature given tourist spot in Krabi is their Emerald Pool. This place has been one of the most highlight of most travel must see in Thailand. When I first saw it on brochure, I taught it was just a usual lagoon or river with its crystal clear water that's so noticeable. Not until I discovered myself this mythical and magical pool that was totally worth the 2 hour deive from Krabi Proper.

Before you reach this location, it will take you 15-20 minutes walk from the entrance of the Emerald Pool. You'll pass by covered trees and bamboos scattered all over the place with its majestic clear blue sky and lush greeneries of the area. When you visit Krabi, this place should be your one main travel list. Here are some of the photos to prove I did enjoy the place. ;)

Travel: Aonang Silver Orchid Resort

Welcome to Ao Nang Silver Orchid Resort. If you're searching for that peaceful nature blended with the modern style resort, this is the place to be for enjoying your holidays in Ao Nang. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful place overlooking the mountain scenery and cliff limestone in Krabi Thailand. It is a three star resort that offers real privacy and tranquility.

Ao Nang Silver Resort have variety of room types and I got the Pool Access Room. This is a modern style resort and my stay here was completely unforgettable especially with their friendliest staff who assisted me carrying my luggage when I checked in, arranged day tour and also helped me bring to my next hotel the day after checking out.

The room have well maintained aircon, bathrooms and toiletries that you need. The bed is heavenly comfortable but what I enjoyed the most was the pool access overlooking the large swimming pool overlooking Ao Nang's mountain view for me to relax and enjoy.

Travel: Krabi 4 Islands

Discover the best Krabi day trips where you can go swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing & relaxing.
On my first day in Ao Nang, I had  one day tour to 4 Islands near Krabi's sea.  You can have this tour program either by speed boat or long tail boat. The usual price for this tour will range from 1000 - 1200 baht, depending on your bargaining skills.

At exactly 8:00 AM, the package includes pick up from your hotel. It will transfer you to the local pier where all tourist will meet up for orientation. First stop will be Phranang Cave with king, beautiful sandy beach and swimming - ideal desert beach suitable for relaxing or exploring, both in and out of the water. Next stop will be the Chicken Island where you will experience snorkelling on coral reefs. We went next to Tup Island, a place popular for its famous sandbank. Lastly we had a long stopover at Poda Island which is another tropical beach with quiet atmosphere and we had picnic lunch here.

After this trip, the package also includes transportation for hotel transfer. It also includes life jacket, drinking water, English speaking guide, lunch and travel insurance as well. Totally worth it.

Tourists arriving in Tup Island using long tail boat or speed boat for the island tour.

The KEE Resort & Spa Patong Beach

If you're planning to visit Phuket before summer ends, then go to The Kee Resort & Spa Patong Beach in Phuket, Thailand. It will be a crowded summer destination but to tell you frankly, this resort & spa is something else. I celebrated my 25th birthday here and booked it online via Agoda.com before heading to Thailand.

The KEE Resort & Spa is a Thai-owned avant garde tropical retreat with a vast lagoon-like swimming pool & contemporary Sino- Portugese theme in the heart of Thailand's most popular tourist destination. What I really love about this place will be their modern room style with various colour schemes to choose from. You will definitely love the interior design & the modern comforts of this resort.

Imagine each room equipped with a central entertainment console for music & movies on demand, plus international satellite television. The entertainment interface also allows guests to order in-room dining and real-time bill checking. All guest rooms at The KEE Resort & Spa Patong have free wifi internet access & KEE card to ensure privacy & Security. Also don't forger to try the KEE Sky Lounge & KEE Pool Bar & try the famous Thai Massage at KEE Spa. Staying for a night here was indeed spectacular. I really had a great time & this is a perfect getaway. Can't wait to be back for sure.

Summer Wind Restaurant Phuket Thailand

Knowing Phuket as one of the best summer destination in Asia, it will be a great challenge to look for the best dinner spot in town. But when I recently went there few months back, I was able to dine in one of the best rest in Phuket I would highly recommend to everyone who's planning to go there for a summer escapade.

Phuket Thailand continues to become popular & develop with many fascinating restaurants & food chains springing up at alarming pace. One such is the new Summer Wind Club & Restaurant. The first thing to notice about the new Summer Wind is their breezy open slow type space from which you can see the passers-by ambling along the new walking street outside and of course many of them seem to be enticed into the restaurant by the lively welcoming atmosphere & good food aromas coming from the resto kitchen.

Fresh local food specialties.

Urban Food Asian & International Restaurant

I have noticed that for the last two months, my entries were mainly focused too much with my recent trip in Dubai. I realised the need to make a way in having my food & fashion blog post as well. So here you guys hungry tummy, let me share one of the best restaurant in Phuket Thailand where I celebrated my 25th last January.

Urban Food as they say is the bistro you cannot say no to! This place has a nice venue in the shopping centre with very clean & well presented ambience. And I should say prices are like half of what you might see in the resort hotels. We had the Thai fried rice, fish & chips & pasta as well. All the items we ordered tasted so well in including its serving portion. The staff are also helpful & customer service oriented. What I love about this restaurant was their free salad bar where they offered varieties of salad menu ingredients you can choose from.

You can also have wide selections of f rest smoothies & milkshakes with the price ranging from 90B to 100B only. I wanted to give this place 4/5 & would definitely still go again here to once again experience the beautiful flavours of Urban Food.

A DAY IN THAILAND

Imagine to be in a place for a day leaving all your worries & just simply enjoy the day of travelling and conquering the busy streets of Bangkok. I was lucky enough to experience this unplanned journey when I visited Cambodia & for some reasons I just decided to be here before heading back to Singapore.

I wasn't able to catch my flight in Phnom Penh International Airport from Siam Reap so my only choice was to travel 6 hours by land to Thailand from Siam Reap via Poipet- Aranya Prathet border crossing. It seemed to be forever travelling not until I reached Thailand where I realised it was indeed worth a travel experience.

Thailand never fails to impress me with what their city can offer to all the tourists. From their genuine smile, luscious Pad Thai, quick street market shopping & simply going around Siam Centre will be one great experience for everyone.

Travel is rebellion in its purest form... We follow our heart. We free ourselves of labels. We lose control willingly. We trade a role for reality. We love the unfamiliar. We trust strangers. We only own what we carry. We search for better questions., not answers. We truly graduate. We, sometimes, never choose to come back.

CAMBODIA VS. THAILAND VIDEO BLOG 2013

Travelling in two countries in one itinerary will always be an awesome journey to experience. I went to Cambodia last October and booked my flight a night before my flight. I got a big check off my bucket list when I finally visited the majestic Angkor Wat. After all the great food & temple hopping experience in Cambodia, one unexpected surprise changed my route going to Bangkok, Thailand instead of coming back to Singapore. A long land travel from Cambodian boundary on a flooded highway to reach the Kingdom of Thailand & spent an afternoon loitering around Siam Centre in Bangkok before heading home was one big memorable experience I will cherish forever.

My next travel itinerary will be Hongkong & Macau so watch out for more video blogs soon as I'm planning to document nightlife in Lang Kwai Fong & bungee jump one of a kind experience in Macau Tower.
